Nathalie, I think I tend to use speed rather than the „clock“ to control distance for these shots and I certainly hear what you are saying about the downsides of that. Nevertheless whenever I see an instruction video describing the clock method it looks very much as though the backswing is to the clock, but the follow through is almost always beyond the appropriate „endpoint“. Do you have any idea why that could be so?
Does your foot position change on a half wedge shot? Should your feet be closer together? Stance open or closed?
